I am Woman

"Tree Pose" created in Photoshop by Laurie Elizabeth Spring 2007

I am the teacher and the student.
Dedicated to helping humanity learn.

I am the comedian.
Understanding that laughter heals us all.

I am the leader.
Tough and aggressive, unapologetic about my success.

I am the healer
My touch and my energy radiating peace and light.

I am the warrior
Fighting for causes both big and small.

I am the artist
Songs of love and freedom connecting us.

I am the provider
Feeding the hungry, clothing the cold, and sheltering the homeless.

I am the Spirit
Conscious of how my words and actions provide guidance.

I am in every corner of every land.

I am the earth, the moon, and the sun.

I am the wind in the air, the breadth on your face, the rustling in the forest.

I am the face in the mirror
Holding the secrets of our world passed on through our souls.

I.
Am.
Woman.

I Am Woman...

A woman of grace, who understands that acceptance and compassion are strengths. I protect myself when I live my life from my highest purpose, grounded in who I am. I am free to make choices that serve the highest good of all people and creatures of this earth. I am a model of peace and of love...expressing myself through the gifts I am meant to share. I am a dancer, a singer, a musician, a creator....and when I am true to myself, I bring bliss to this world. I am grateful for my body....this sacred vessel that gives birth to creative energies so powerful and radiant...undulating and vibrating infinite spirals of light into the universe. Woman creates and woman supports. Woman holds and woman guides. She protects and shelters, nurtures and nourishes....and always, always loves. Woman breathes in struggle and exhales solutions. Woman embraces the storm that brings change, transformation, and healing. I honor these sacred strengths in myself....I honor my feminine and masculine energies. I am balanced and whole...complete and connected. I am beautiful. I am bountiful. I am blissful. I am woman. I am. I am.

  1. Beautiful. That's all I can say. I've been trying to say more but this says it all. Nicely written and so meaningful.
